DO I LOSE COMFORT WITH THE USE OF LOWERING SPRINGS?

One of the frequently asked questions from our customers. The engineers at Eibach aim to achieve at least the same comfort level as with original springs. It is important, however, that the car has shock absorbers in good condition to actually achieve this goal. Eibach springs are progressive springs, which means that the car is comfortable during normal driving conditions. Additionally, the springs provide extra resistance in situations like cornering or carrying heavy loads, such as a caravan. This extra resistance helps the car maintain an acceptable level of stability.

WHAT DOES -30 STAND FOR?

In general, Eibach lowering is around -30 (as seen in the Eibach Pro Kit -30, for instance). This means a 30 millimeter lowering at both the front and rear. With Sportline, you often achieve an extra few centimeters of lowering. Every car's lowering is different, and this information is, of course, specified for each set in our product overview in the shop. If your car is originally equipped with a sports suspension, the actual lowering may be less.

CAN I USE EIBACH LOWERING SPRINGS ON MY ORIGINAL SHOCK ABSORBERS?

The Eibach Pro and Sportline springs are designed by Eibach to be compatible with original shock absorbers without any problems. If you're looking for a sportier setup, we recommend pairing these lowering springs with sport shock absorbers from brands like KONI or BILSTEIN. A sport shock absorber has a faster response to road irregularities, resulting in less bouncing and increased resistance in corners.

These highly popular kits often include Bilstein B8 shock absorbers combined with Eibach lowering springs.

EIBACH ANTI ROLL KIT: THE FINAL UPGRADE!

If your car is already equipped with an Eibach lowering kit, you can fine-tune it with performance stabilizers. Using Eibach stabilizers reduces body roll in corners while maintaining spring comfort. Furthermore, the use of Eibach stabilizers has a positive impact on the car's oversteer or understeer characteristics.

WITH THE EIBACH PRO-STREET S COILOVER KIT, ADJUST HEIGHT TO YOUR PREFERENCE

THE EIBACH PRO-KIT LOWERING SPRINGS
With these Eibach lowering springs, they have managed to achieve maximum performance without sacrificing much in terms of comfort. They undergo extensive testing for quality and safety. This set significantly shortens the braking distance. Moreover, the Eibach lowering springs meet the highest standards and are TUV approved. For our Belgian customers, a GOCA certificate can be provided for free as standard, ensuring a hassle-free inspection process.The Pro-Kit springs are known for their progressive operation. They provide additional resistance when needed. You can feel this in the handling during sharp corners and the quicker response that the car gains! Not only does the handling improve, but also the vehicle's appearance with a more balanced stance. Wheel arches are better filled due to the use of the average 30mm lowering springs.
THE EIBACH SPORTLINE LOWERING SPRINGS
The red Eibach Sportline lowering springs provide maximum lowering of approximately 50mm, resulting in the most desirable aesthetics. These springs can be paired with either the original shock absorbers or sport shock absorbers. For those who find a 30mm drop insufficient, Eibach offers the solution with these springs! The car truly shines and perfectly matches a sporty and aggressive appearance! With the progressive lowering springs, the Sportline achieves an excellent balance between extreme lowering and still maintaining comfortable driving characteristics.
EIBACH B12 PRO-KIT
Currently, the most popular lowering kit consists of four Bilstein B8 Sprint shock absorbers paired with Eibach Pro-Kit springs. With a subtle lowering of typically 30mm, your car will have a sleek look atop these sporty shock absorbers. The springs offer a comfortable character, while the shock absorbers provide a sporty handling. The best of both worlds is achieved through the collaboration of these top-tier suspension brands. The Eibach springs and Bilstein shock absorbers have been extensively tested by the engineers of Bilstein & Eibach. For this reason, they have passed all tests with flying colors and meet the highest quality standards. They come with TUV approval as standard. Therefore, it's not a problem to provide our Belgian customers with the GOCA certificate!
EIBACH B12 SPORTLINE
The Bilstein B8 shock absorbers combined with Eibach Sportline springs deliver an incredibly tight road behavior. Specifically designed for car owners who want maximum lowering with a fixed set without sacrificing too much comfort. This set provides an aggressive appearance and sporty handling. In most cases, an attempt is made to achieve a lowering of approximately 40 to 50mm. Red springs and yellow Bilstein shock absorbers contribute to this performance! The products are equipped with the TUV certificate, and for Belgian customers, the GOCA certificate can also be requested!
EIBACH PRO-STREET S
With this Eibach Coilover Kit, a lowering of 20mm to 70mm is possible depending on the vehicle, as indicated in our Eibach shop. This set feels comfortable to sporty in the 'normal range'. However, if you push it to or beyond the limit, it will feel slightly stiffer. The Pro-Street S offers you the best sporty suspension without sacrificing much comfort. With this set, you can adjust the height according to your own preference. This lowering kit is made entirely of stainless steel, which is very beneficial for its lifespan. Eibach exclusively uses polyamide spring perches, which also prevents corrosion formation. The coilover set is also TUV certified. For this reason, we can also provide the GOCA certificate for our Belgian customers if needed!
EIBACH PRO SPACER
Engels: With the Eibach wheel spacers, you widen the track width of your vehicle, resulting in improved handling and enhanced looks. These spacers are made from high-quality aluminum that is finished with a special coating, providing corrosion protection. When you choose Eibach Pro-Spacers, you're investing in quality, evident in the minimal tolerances and perfect fit. This ensures that the balance of your vehicle remains excellent. Eibach spacers are perfectly compatible with the Eibach Pro-Kit or Sportline. By installing them, the entire car's appearance comes together with a sportier look. This way, the wheel arches will be nicely filled. There are various systems available, ranging from 5 to 30mm.
EIBACH ANTI ROLL KIT
The Eibach Anti-Roll Kit improves the vehicle's handling by reducing body roll in corners. The spring comfort remains at the same current level. Additionally, these performance stabilizers reduce the load transfer between the curves of the inner and outer sides of the wheel.
