Mudguards, also known as "spatborden" in Dutch, are protective panels attached to the wheel arches of a vehicle. Their purpose is to capture dirt, mud, stone chips, and water to prevent them from splashing onto the vehicle or other road users. Mudguards can also be replaced as an upgrade, for example, by installing wider mudguards to create a more rugged appearance or by using M-look mudguards for a sportier look.
